KOA Speer Introduces 3W Metal Plate Current Sense Resistor in 2512 Size

Bradford, PA, February 21, 2017 – KOA Speer Electronics introduces the new TLR3APS Current Sense Resistor, featuring a 3 Watt power rating in a 2512 package. The TLR3APS is a metal plate resistor that provides excellent dimension accuracy and low height with a thickness as low as 0.6mm. In addition, it offers superior corrosion and heat resistance with an operating temperature of -65°C to +170°C.

KOA Speer’s TLR3APS resistor has low T.C.R. of ±50 ppm/°C and ±75ppm/°C with resistance tolerance of ±1%. The TLR3APS resistance values available are 2mΩ and 3mΩ and is AEC-Q200 qualified.

Used primarily for current detection, the TLR3APS current sense resistors are ideal for transportation, industrial, telecommunications, and consumer electronics markets in applications such as personal computing devices, DC to DC conversion, automotive modules, motor control, and power supplies.

Lead time is 14 weeks. Samples are available upon request.
